I loved your class! You pack in so many tips, tricks and techniques. I’ve also taken skinny inset strips and the class also was excellent. In Hexibore, I took the class for technique and now have a new WIP. Your seam matching tips are alone are worth the class.
“THANK YOU SO MUCH JENNY!!
What a wonderful class! Thank you for teaching me the skinny line block- I’m so obsessed now with the Drunkards path and the super skinny line. Also I’m still amazed at the fact that I can actually SEW CURVES without so many pins!
This was so inspiring- when I found your website I was so thrilled to see you were offering these classes. I’ve learned so much, and you are a WONDERFUL teacher! I will definitely take some more in the future.”
I wanted to thank you again for this incredible experience yesterday. It was my first patchwork/quilting course ever and I think now I am spoilt. I am totally stoked. I learned so much yesterday and I didn’t expect to enjoy sewing round shapes and fiddling around with skinny strips too much but you proved me wrong. You opened a whole new world to me and helped me discover a new side of me and my sewing.
So you know.
I also enjoyed not sewing on my own for once. Sewing can be a pretty lonesome business and I really enjoyed the interaction with the others and seeing others, even if it was just online.
“I’m so incredibly grateful to you for sharing your skills, talents, advice, witticisms, analogies, and time with us. I knew classes with you would be awesome, but I didn’t quite grasp how much of an impact it would have. I feel like a more confident, experienced, and inspired sewer now and you’ve got me HOOKED on curves.
Rest assured, we will be back for more in the future! Looking forward to seeing you spread the love of curves to more people, and seeing all the great new things that you create in the meantime.”
“Jenny, your creative spirit, sense of humor, attention to detail, and step by step instruction make the floating stairs quilt a breeze. Feeling confident in the process of completing this quilt. So glad we found you through Instagram. Looking forward to future sessions with you. You are one in a million!”
“Thank you, Jenny, for a delightful class this weekend. This quilt has really taken me out of my comfort zone – in a good way! – and I’m loving the process. Worked on into the night after the class finished and I can’t wait to finish it and hang it on the wall above my bed. Thank you all for the inspiration from your amazing work!?”
“I had the pleasure of a Zoom class with @pappersaxsten where I got to learn her double cut Drunkards Path technique. I have previously learnt how to sew curves without pins with her and found it life changing. Once again she pushed me to get great technique and make me want try more! Thanks Jenny!”
“A Big thank you and much love to our quilty teacher and mentor Jenny. Over 3 weekends in August, my 12 year old & I had the wonderful opportunity of doing mom-baby workshops with this charismatic teacher over zoom. She patiently guided us through every aspect of curve piecing – we tried many a technique and pattern with her – #nopincurves, #thistles, #skinnyinsetcurves, #kelsquilt, foundation paper piecing, Y seams and precision piecing. By the end of the month, I feel we had graduated from zero curve confidence to sewing all the curves! Thanks to this, my 12 year old was able successfully pattern test a deliciously curvy design with all sizes of drunkards bath blocks. Jenny has great virtual presence, one of the best of the studio setups for zoom workshops, and is an amazing teacher sharing all her expertise and experience with some nifty tricks. Just a few hours with Jenny will make you a total curves addict and I’m looking forward to joining her again soon!”
“You were so awesome on screen. You’re as good on zoom as you are live.”
