Hexibore #2- an Online Group Workshop – June 11th, 5-9pm BST

This is an online course consisting of a 45 minute Get Ready! session to discuss colours and what you need to prep, followed a few weeks later by a four-hour group session via Zoom. The workshop is on a Sunday and consists of two one-hour demo’s by me, each followed by solo sewing and questions by you.

Learning objectives:

In this techniques class we will build on what we covered in the Hexibore #1 class but anyone is welcome to join, all aspects of this technique will be covered. , We will look at how to sew no-pin curves using my Drunkard’s Path templates, trimming the blocks, pairing them up whilst creating pointy points and matchy seams and assembling the panels. This time we are changing the the amount of petals and the degree of the angles. We will look at four, five and eight petal versions and how you can adjust the size to suit you.

Level:

Suitable for confident beginners to advanced quilters but no previous curve experience required and you do not need to have done the first Hexibore class to join. The pattern will have different versions for different levels but a bit of accuracy is certainly useful.
