Join me for a quilting and well-being retreat at the stunning Mas Nouveau venue in the heart of the Cévennes, in the south of France from April 7th – 11th, 2025.
With three full days of quilting as well the opportunity to enjoy amazing food, relax in the open-air spa and explore the wonders of the surrounding nature of Cévennes National Park, you will leave fully energised and creatively charged.
Itinerary:
Monday – arrival and set-up between 2-5pm, welcome dinner, Fokus presentation
Tuesday – workshop, 9am-4pm
Wednesday – workshop 9am-4pm
Thursday- workshop 9am-4pm, show and tell, dinner followed by live music
Friday – morning departure
The venue: Mas Nouveau
Mas Nouveau is set in the Cévennes National Park, adjacent to the southern flank of Mont Lozère and an international starry sky reserve (RICE zone). The 16th century building, originally a farm dedicated to market gardening and breeding, was restored in 2007. The rooms at Mas Nouveau offer visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in a place that is both peaceful and re-energising.
The agricultural land supplies berries and vegetables from the vegetable garden, fruit from the orchard, aromatic plants, chestnuts and eggs, all of which feature on the plates of the Mas Nouveau restaurant.

Not included: spa treatments, travel or insurance. Workshop supplies are also not included (see the supplies list here).

With stunning views of the surrounding countryside, the rooms at Mas Nouveau offer a unique experience in an authentic 16th century rural setting.
Whether you are looking for a private room for one or two or a space to share with friends new or old, each room is tastefully decorated and equipped with all modern comforts to ensure a pleasant stay.

Fokus Quilt
We will be making the Fokus Quilt (#fokusquilt) at the retreat. There will be three versions included in the workshop material, a four, six and eight wedge version, with multiple ways of making this your own.
